The Sacramento Monarchs season came to an end with a loss to the Minnestota Lynx, but with the loss Nicole Powell managed to break Yolanda Griffith's scoring record of 545 that had not been broken for 10 years.  Nicole finished the night with 27pts. with a career total of 567pts.  Congratulations to Nicole!
